Instead of trying to apply armpit deodorant to your feet, you should consider buying deodorant specifically designed to keep your feet from smelling unpleasant. It is a great confidence boost, and may improve your day-to-day comfort when wearing shoes.

Some people try to apply regular underarm deodorant to their feet. This may work slightly, but it definitely isn’t working to its full potential. The chemicals in your underarms work very differently than those in your feet, so you need a type of deodorant that is completely exclusive to your feet. These can be bought at most stores, but if you can’t find any then you can look on the internet for web sites specializing in selling all of the most common types of deodorant. Eventually you will be able to find foot deodorant.

When you apply the foot deodorant, you have to focus on the areas that make your feet stink the most. Usually this is the bottom of your foot and the areas between the toes, since they generate the most sweat. It may be different for you, but this is the recommended area that you should focus on the most while you are putting your foot deodorant on. You can rub it around just as you would in your underarms. However, you usually won’t need to double back on your path since there is a much larger area to cover.

In general, foot deodorant will work for almost anyone who tries it. However, your results might not be the same as the next guy. Be very aware of what happens when you use the foot deodorant. Do you sweat more or less? Do your feet smell better than usual? If there aren’t any positive effects, then it is probably not worth the time or money required to buy it and apply it. Just buy a stick to start off with and put it on every day for a week or two. If you see positive results then stick with it, but otherwise you should look to other methods for curing foot odor.
